Making the most of GE Free New Zealand - Green Party GE Tour
When: Tuesday 7 August Where: Clive Hall, Main Road, Clive, 7:30-9pm Who: Green MP Steffan Browning and Australian farmers Bob Mackley and Julie Newman What: Making the most of GE Free New Zealand – Green Party GE Tour
New Zealand is at a crossroads. As an agricultural nation we are at the point of having to make a decision between growing genetically engineered (GE) food, for which there is enormous market resistance, or growing GE free food, for which there is tremendous demand.
Green Party MP Steffan Browning is touring the country with two Australian farmers, Julie Newman and Bob Mackley, who are experiencing the divisive frontline of GE in their communities.
Join Steffan and the team to discuss this crucial issue.
Note: Steffan Browning and both farmers are available for interviews to talk about their first-hand experience of genetically engineered crops in their communities.
