A busy couple of days for the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter.
Friday October 30th.
Time = 6:40 p.m.
The rescue helicopter was responded to Porangahau for a male in his 70’s with a medical condition; he was transported to HB Regional Hospital for further treatment.
Saturday October 31st
Time = 4:30 p.m.
The Rescue helicopter was called to Wairoa Hospital for and 18 year old female suffering from a head injury resulting from a motor vehicle accident.The patient was transported from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
Sunday November 1st
Time = 3:00 p.m.
The rescue helicopter was despatched to a farm location at Apiti (mid way between Feilding and Taihape) to attend 2 patients. The first patient was a 16 year old male suffering from a broken leg after falling for a motor bike. The second patient was a 19 year old male who fell from a ute, which was going to pick up the first patient, and was run over by the ute, and also suffering from a broken leg. Both patients were transported to Palmerston North Hospital for further treatment.
