A Hawkes Bay high school has been included in the latest list of schools around the country set to receive high speed broadband.
.
Hastings Boys High School is among a hundred schools to receive ICT upgrades which will enable teachers and students in every classroom to have access to ultra-fast broadband.
Information Technology Minister Steven Joyce says most current students will spend much of their working lives online, and it's important schools prepare them by providing access to the latest technology.
